Nag Tibba

Nag Tibba is one the three principal ranges of the lesser Himalayas in Uttarakhand, India. The other ranges are Dhaola Dhar and the Pir Panjal. The Nag Tibba is the most easterly of the three ranges, is some 26,800 feet.

Nag Tibba is located near Mussoorie, the famous hill station in India. It is one of the most popular treks from Mussoorie. Many tourist and trekkers opt for Nag Tibba trek to explore the nature in their own way. Nag Tibba is said to be domicile of Nag Devta. Local villager used to come here to offer their prayer to Nag Devta for the protection of their cattle.

Nag Tibba Trek

Day 1: Reach Pathwairi via Dehradun- Musoorie-Nainbagh

Day 2: Pathwari to Nagtibba (8 kms trek)

Day 3: Nag tibba - Nag tibba Top - Nag tibba (3 + 3 = 6kms) Glimpse the panaromic view of over 200 miles of the Himalayan ranges, besides offering captivating views of Mussorie, Doon valley & surrounding areas.

Day 4: Nag Tibba - Devalsari ( 14 kms trek) Trek passes through thick forest of Rododendron.Arrive and set the camp for overnight stay.

Day 5: Devalsari - Son Danda (7 Kms trek ) and then bus to Dehradun.

Winters are chilled during September to April. Summers are pleasant. Monsoon are during July to September.

Bus route are well connected to Dehradun after that Taxis and local buses are available. Massoorie just one hour from Dehradun.
