Rishikesh to Mussoorie
By Road: Rishikesh to Mussoorie is an easy two hour drive with distance of 76kms. Distance from Rishikesh to Mussoorie is 76kms. Drive back from Rishikesh to Dehradun via Prem Nagar and then drive to Mussoorie on Dehradun - Mussoorie road. Rishikesh is 238kms from Delhi which makes 5-7 hours journey. You can get bus to Rishikesh from Delhi ISBT Kashmiri Gate. A normal bus will cost you around Rs 130 to 240, whereas AC Deluxe bus will cost you around Rs 250 to 450. In order to reach Rishikesh drive from Delhi to Meerut via Ghaziabad on NH58, then drive to Roorkee via Khatauli. You can have food in Khatauli as it has some good restaurants. Drive to Roorkee via Muzaffarnagar and then drive to Rishikesh via Haridwar. From Rishikesh you can either book a taxi or go by bus to Mussoorie.
By Railway: You can also reach up to Rishikesh by train. A quiet branch line connects Rishikesh to Haridwar, but there are only about three slow trains daily. It's best to take the train to Haridwar and continue by bus or by taxi to Mussoorie. Mussoorie is only two hour drive (76kms) from Rishikesh. Bookings can be made from Mussoorie itself at computerized reservation system at Kulri Bazaar and Railway Out Agency.
