Mussoorie and Nainital are the top hill stations in India. Both of them are the first choice as honeymoon destinations for new wed couples. On top of it both Mussoorie and Nainital are about 10hrs drive from Delhi so they are busiest weekend destination as well. Route is same whether you want to go to Mussoorie from Nainital or vice versa.

Travelling by Bus
There are many Uttarakhand Roadways buses (normal, deluxe, semi deluxe, AC and Volvo) from Nainital to Dehradun. Many private bus operators also run their bus services from Nainital to Dehradun. From Dehradun one can hire a taxi or cab to Mussoorie.
By Train
There is no direct connectivity from Nainital to Mussoorie. Even the nearest Railway stations of Mussoorie (Dehradun) and Nainital (Kathgodam) are not directly connected. Thus it can be a time consuming and costly affair, so train travel is not recommended while travelling from Nainital to Mussoorie or from Mussoorie to Nainital.
